Anyone here who’s been single from the time they were born up to now? Let me guess, if not all, most of you are in a relationship right now or have been in a romantic relationship before. So most of you are not part of the No Boyfriend Since Birth Club. Okay let me tell you one thing about myself, I never have a boyfriend ever in my life. Imagine I’m already 20 and yet I’ve never been into a romantic relationship.. So that means, I’ve never been kissed by a guy. My first kiss’s a girl. No, I’m not a lesbian. I am a straight girl. And that kiss was a SMACK. Okay?
The reason why I am single because no one ever dared to court me. Maybe no one really likes me *sob*. No! I doubt that. I believe that there’s always one person who likes you. He’s just too scared to tell you. I have a lot of guy friends but when I feel like our closeness are getting into something deeper, I immediately tell him that I love someone else. Actually, that’s the truth. I’ve been in love twice but sadly, they’re both in a relationship and I think they’re happy.
I’m not whining about being single ’cause the truth I am happy with it. I can do whatever I want. I have more time with my friends. I am not obliged to tell someone “good morning sweetie” or “good night babe”. But my friends keep bugging me being single. I mean what’s wrong with that? To tell you the truth, even my mom told that I should have a boyfriend already since I’m already done with my studies.
I also have friends like me. We all choose to graduate first before getting into a romantic relationship. I am not alone with this. Once we asked each other, what qualities we like in a guy. I always say I like guys who are chinito or bald. Haha! 😀 Well, one of the reasons I don’t have a boyfriend aside from being in love with my bestfriend who has a girlfriend, is I have a checklist. Yes, a checklist of what I want in a guy.
1. Chinito

3. Guy who wears eyeglasses
4. Gentleman
5. With sense of humor
6. Knows how to have clean fun
7. Can sing ( I want him to serenade me)

13. Good in taking photos (I want to see the beauty of the world through him)

Ahahaha! Whoa, that’s quite a long list that you’re looking for with a guy. To be honest, you are right out there – THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING SINGLE. In fact, I’m 20 yrs old myself, too and I do not engage myself in any romantic relationship for two years already. Uhm, actually I’m not a member of the No Boyfriend Since Birth, I have had before. But I’m done with those failed relationships, I am happy with my status now. But to be more honest, the reason why I don’t get myself a boyfriend now is that: it can wait. With God’s perfect plans, that guy will surely come in the right time and in the right place. The most important thing I look for a guy is that: HE IS DEEPLY ROOTED WITH JESUS CHRIST. HE MUST HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.
So anyway, I enjoyed reading this post.

hahahahaha, kagaya nyo… NBSB din ako hahaha, marami pa tayong ka club mate….most of my friends ay NBSB rin…mas masaya pag single…sabi nga nila…LOVE will find you, minsan napagkakamalan ng lesbian, girl pariha tayo, first kiss ko rin girl..smack langnaman sa pinsan ko….hahahaha..hindi naman ako choosey piro pag ang guy nagbabalak ng mag court…umiiwas naako…kaya hindi maka diskarte2x hahaahha…umiiwas ako kasi alam kong hindi pa sya, wish ko kasi 1st bf ko to be my husband na..hahahaha…wish lang naman yon…basta pag nakita ko na sya..malalaman ko na sya na nga…kaya for now…let us enjoy our life..with God.. 🙂
Hmm like you guys i’m a member of NBSB clan as well. Before naman di ko naman pinoproblema to. I enjoyed life being single. But right after college, naging open na ako with this kind of relationship. Ang kaso di ko naman gusto ang mga me gusto sakin. Sometimes, I thought life is unfair. Kung sino ang gusto natin siyang di mo maakit (lol) at kung sino ayaw mo eh siya namang papansin sayo. Anyway, ngayon nga my friends are bugging me. Like you, I don’t know what’s wrong with being single but sometimes iniisip ko rin kung panu ang to love and to be loved??? Hindi naman pwede na dahil lang sa gusto natin magkabf eh sasagutin na natin kung sinuman ung manligaw. In my case, kelangan din natin pumili kasi nga they will be the first mostly in us (first kiss, hug, holding hands, akbay etc,,). And just like any other girls, all want for a guy is ung me pinag aralan o me stable job, mabait at sweet, ung love na love ka talaga (not suicidal huh 😉 ), and ofcourse ung me sense of humor. And take note ayoko ng mga lalake na slow at mahina pumick up hahaha. Mahirap ba hinahanap ko? I don’t think so. Though I’m not sure if the irony is true na kung anu ung mga pinipili ng tao eh kabaliktaran pa ung napupunta sa atin. But I believe that with God’s prayer, everything will come true.
Hi, I am 25, n I too have been single since birth. It is an awesome feeling actually. Sometimes, I do feel like it would be nice to have somebody who i could feel good thinking about, but I guess it’ll happen when it has to happen. Im so glad that I could find somebody who has never ever had a bf before, I always thought i was the only weirdo.
